Sarum Guitars & Drums is owned by Nick Hyde, who started the business in 2002.

Nick opened the Guitar Shop on Castle Street in Salisbury together with a business partner and close friend.  Nick’s partnership ended a few months later, and he purchased the other half of the business to become a sole trader.

Sarum Guitars has become very successful. The shop has continued to thrive, and the need for larger premises has meant the shop has moved to Tidworth and now back to Salisbury.

Nick has opened a drum sales department in the guitar shop to accommodate local drummers. This was opened in September 2024.

Today, the shop is much bigger with dozens of guitars to choose from. Sarum Guitars & Drums can be found in the heart of Salisbury at the Cross Keys Mall Shopping Centre.
